Pretty Place

Pretty Place Chapel (Fred W. Symmes Chapel at YMCA Camp Greenville) is one of the most breathtaking ceremony locations in the Southeast. Perched on a cliffside at the edge of the Blue Ridge Escarpment, this open-air chapel offers an unobstructed view of the rolling foothills of South Carolina. It’s quiet, sacred, and wildly beautiful – perfect for couples who want to begin their marriage surrounded by awe.

But here’s the important part:
Elope Asheville does not own or manage Pretty Place. It is part of YMCA Camp Greenville, and all reservations must be made directly through them. We cannot book it for you (believe us… we keep trying!). 

How To Reserve Pretty Place

1. You must book the chapel directly.
Pretty Place does not allow third-party vendors (like us) to make reservations on your behalf. You’ll need to call YMCA Camp Greenville at 864-836-3291, ext. 0 to ask about availability and pricing.

2. Venue fees are separate.
The cost to reserve Pretty Place is not included in our packages. Their pricing varies depending on date, time, and other factors. All fees are paid directly to them.

3. It books fast.
Because of the incredible view, Pretty Place is in high demand. The more flexible you are with your date and time, the better your chances of reserving it.

Once you’ve locked in your date and time with Pretty Place, we can plan everything else around that. We’re happy to work with any available date or time you choose!
